Eight Schools. One Community.
Sioux Falls Catholic Schools

Our Mission

Catholic Schools have been serving families in the Sioux Falls area for more than 100 years. In 1991, Sioux Falls Catholic Schools (SFCS) was formed. The consolidation of schools was an effort to assure the strengthening of our Catholic schools and their strong existence far into the future. We are proud to be celebrating 28 years as a PK-12 school system!

Our six elementary schools, junior high and high school exemplify Gospel values, strong student achievement and community service. Each and every school is dedicated to our mission of…forming a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence.

Our Faith

Faith activities in our schools include daily prayer, weekly mass, preparation for sacraments and Christian service projects. We teach our children that they are the hands and feet of Christ here on earth. Our parish priests are actively involved in our schools. O’Gorman High School and O’Gorman Junior High have a campus chaplain.

Our Community

We are blessed at Sioux Falls Catholic Schools to have a strong community of parents, volunteers, friends and supporters who are all driven by our mission. The experience of shared community can be witnessed at our masses, special events, activities and service opportunities. Students, parents and faculty alike gather in prayer, serve our community and support each other in athletic, academic and artistic endeavors. We have been especially blessed by a strong support system of dedicated faith leaders and generations of SFCS alumni and friends. It is a community like no other.
