O’Gorman Junior High School
Located on the same campus as O’Gorman High School, O’Gorman Junior High School is the home of approximately 400 students in grades seven and eight. Since the inception of the junior high in 1998, we have been committed to helping our students develop spiritually, academically, and socially. We continue to find new ways to challenge our students in order for them to become the best they can be. The outstanding cooperative efforts between home and school assure our students many opportunities for success.
The heart and soul of OGJH is our strong faith community. Along with daily prayer, all students are required to take religion courses in seventh and eighth grade. Masses are held weekly. Student participation and planning are integral parts of these liturgies. We also pray a decade of the Rosary two times per week. It is essential that we promote Christ’s values in all that we do.
Approximately ninety percent of our students are involved in some form of co-curricular activity. We offer many opportunities for involvement including campus ministry, performing arts, and athletics. We encourage all students to be actively involved in their education.
At O’Gorman Junior High, we are dedicated to serving our students and their families. If you would like to learn more about our school or would like a tour, please contact Wade Charron, Principal, at 988-0546 or Sara Rankin, SFCS Admissions Director, at 575-3358.
