Saint Mary’s Kindergarten classes meet half day, every day. The two sections of Kindergarten are offered in the morning, beginning at 8:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m. Our students receive a solid academic foundation in a developmentally appropriate format. The Kindergarten program takes into account student maturation, need for play and enrichment time through family, extended opportunities or daycare. As our students continue through other grades, their success, faith development and academic strength continues.
Parents have the option to have their child participate in “K our Way.” This is an extended learning opportunity for the students and is offered every day. “K our Way” is available from 12:00 am until 3:00 pm. “K our Way” is designed to provide quality learning and enrichment opportunities in a half-day format. Each day has a special theme and content. Participation is open to parents to select one to five days a week for their child. Students who do not participate in “K our Way” will equally be prepared to enter First Grade. By participating, students will have quality education and faith-based opportunities, and experiences inside the school environment. Students enjoy the opportunity to spend additional time with same-aged peers in an enriched setting.
The school lunch program is available for those students who attend the extended program. Care continues through the lunch hour with time for a meal and a recess.
