This individualized program is designed to accommodate academic, remediation or enrichment. Assessment includes parent and teacher interviews, standardized tests and specific evaluations as appropriate. A comprehensive program is developed that reflects the evaluation.

Programs

FASTT Math (Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology)

In about 10 minutes a day, students gain math fact fluency and develop automatic recall of basic math facts which provides the foundation for higher order math skills.

The Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing (LiPS)

An intense program designed to stimulate and develop phonemic awareness. This program features a multi-sensory approach which integrates the three senses of hearing, feeling and seeing. It is effective with students who are unable to read and spell words to their potential and students who have been labeled “dyslexic”.

The Sonday System, Learning to Read

Sonday System I is a multi-sensory structured phonics, reading, writing and spelling program that guides beginning reading instruction, reading intervention and English Language Learners (ELL). Sonday System II reviews and builds on concents taught in Sonday System I.

On Cloud Nine Math

A visualizing/verbalizing math program which successfully stimulates the ability to image and verbalize the concepts underlying math problems with an emphasis on both mathematical reasoning and computation.

Earobics

A computer based software program which addresses auditory and phoneme discrimination and identification, auditory attention and short term memory and helps build critical literacy skills. This program can be done at home or at school and supports the skills learned in the LiPS and Sonday programs.

Rite Flight

A supplemental or intervention instruction to help students increase their reading rate and fluency.

Hearbuilders

A program to help build phonemic awareness, sequencing and the ability to follow directions.

BrainFitness

This program is designed to improve working memory, short term memory, focus, and attention, These researched based computerized activities are designed to develop and strengthen mental capacities, teach strategies to increase memory for numbers, words, sentences, and stories. Develop comprehension strategies; enhance learning and analysis, as well as improving working memory methods.
