Sioux Falls Catholic Schools offers financial aid for families that qualify. If you are interested in sending or continuing to send your child(ren) to our schools, but are concerned about your ability to pay tuition, please consider applying for financial aid. There is limited funding available, and it is only available for students in grades Kindergarten thru 12. Funds may not be available after the deadline dates.
REMEMBER: You must complete both the TADS application AND the Grant Applications that are applicable to your student(s) to be considered for financial assistance.
Please follow the steps below to apply:
STEP 1
To complete on-line:
-Click on the TADS, Inc icon to fill out application (located on the right hand side of this page)
-Fax or Mail to TADS the required supporting documentation
-$29 Fee
To submit by paper:
-Request a hard copy of the TADS application from the SFCS Business Office
-Complete the TADS paper application
-Include required supporting documentation with application
-$29 Fee
-Mail all of the above to the TADS, Inc address located on the packet envelope
STEP 2
Mail/E-mail the following grant applications to SFCS Business Office:
(All grant applications can be found at the bottom of this page or are available in hard copy through the SFCS Business office)
--Parish Grant Application (Grades K-6)—must be registered at a Sioux Falls Catholic parish and your application will be forwarded to the pastor of your parish
--Special Needs Grant (Grades K-12)—financial emergency due to loss of job or change in job status, health conditions, change in marital status
--Avera Education Grant (Grades K-12)—based on financial need and the involvement of the student in various activities
--Opportunity Grant (Grades 7 & 8)—for Junior High students achieving in academics, co-curricular and/or civic activities and meet financial need criteria
--Work Study Application (Grades 9-12)—complete with parent signature (must qualify first for work study before eligible for any other funding)
