Admittance Policy

~ SFCS New Student Admittance Policy ~

New students who have formally registered (signed a tuition agreement)and paid a deposit are admitted to a SFCS elementary school in the following order: *

1)Catholic students who are members of their school’s parish or sister parish who:
A. Have siblings in that school
B. Have siblings in another SFCS school (PK-12)
C. Have no siblings in the system

2)Catholic students from families who are members of one of the other Sioux Falls Catholic parishes who:
A. Have siblings in that school
B. Have siblings in another SFCS school (PK-12)
C. Have no siblings in the system

3)Catholic students from families who are members of Catholic parishes outside of Sioux Falls who:
A.Have siblings in that school
B. Have siblings in another SFCS school (PK-12)
C. Have no siblings in the system

4)Students from non-Catholic families who:
A.Have siblings in that school
B.Have siblings in another SFCS school (PK-12)
C.Have no siblings in the system

*When a class size does not allow for admission of all students within a category, students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
