Close Up History Club

The Close Up History Organization is a group which consists of students in grades 10-12. Each year O'Gorman will help sponsor a group of kids who will travel to our nation's capital to tour, research and interact with high school students from around the world. The trip is funded in part by a federal grant, and also by private donations. The kids are also required to pay part of this fee. We try to offset the cost of the trip by doing different fund raising events throughout the year. The goal of this week long trip is to give each student a personal understanding of all that is involved in the governing and political activity of our nation's leaders.
